Water Lilies are my favorite pond plant. They are easy to grow, they multiply easily and they bloom all summer long. Once water temps reach 65 degrees they begin to bloom. Each bloom lasts 3 days and they bloom all summer until the water temps drop again. In Central Washington, my lilies bloom from late May until the first frost in September or October.
Lilies can handle both sun and shade environments. More shade creates larger, greener pads while more sun creates more blooms.
